Festival Debut!

I promised my fiancé she’d get to dress up for my film debut one day… and it finally happened!

Being at a film festival as a first-time filmmaker might feel like a small step in the grand scheme of things, but stepping onto that red carpet? That was IT. Not in a state of vanity, but more just standing there representing my work and the amazing crew who made it happen… For the first time, it felt REAL. 😅

Watching the film in a room full of strangers was wild and weird! Almost out-of-body. And when the credits rolled, I was SO grateful for the reaction in the room.

I also had the chance to meet some seriously talented filmmakers showing their brilliant work. Networking is always a bit scary for me (social anxiety tips, anyone?), but luckily I had Liana by my side. She’s my calm in all the chaos, my gorgeous ride-or-die through the nerves and the glitz! Sharing this moment with her means everything. Her support is unwavering, and I wouldn’t be here chasing a dream without it.

Lastly, thanks again to the Vantra team for having us. Hopefully see you next year!
